Cruise Travel insurance & pregnancy?

Question: I am considering taking a cruise Dec 2-5. The cruise does not let you travel if you are over 24 weeks pregnant. I have to book the cruise in April. Are there any insurance companies that cover my non refundable deposit if I get pregnant?

Answer: I think you need to find the "cancel for any reason" coverage in the travel insurance. It's more expensive but in your case would probably be worth it. http://www.insuremytrip.com/cfar.html

Travel Insurance during pregnancy.?

Question: My wife is 27 weeks pregnant and has a 'fit to travel' certificate from her gynecologist. I am looking to buy appropriate travel health insurance for her during the travel dates. Which companies in India or US would work best to suit the purpose? thanks!

Answer: I would check out this site listed below. They have a comprehensive Travel Insurance policy that covers unexpected medical and non-medical expenses when you are travelling abroad. Avail of benefits like Baggage loss/delay and unique facilities such as Cashless hospitalisation, worldwide. The Travel Insurance plans are the most preferred among others because they cover Pre-Existing diseases in life-threatening emergency situations.* Experience quality health care while in USA with UHI (UnitedHealth International).

Answer: Honestly, you shouldn't be travelling that late in her pregnancy, especially to another country!
