Pregnancy After Tummy Tuck.. Repeat?

Question: I was just wondering if anyone has had a tummy tuck and then gotten pregnant? If you know someone that did, also that would help! :) I'm thinking about getting one. I'm 21 and i don't think i can live much longer with this belly of mine after having two children... I think i'm done. But i still have a lot more time on my clock. So if i had a tummy tuck and got pregnant again i wonder if it would affect my pregnancy? I don't think it would be a waste of money to get it done if i could wear a bikini for a few years. All i want to know is if you can have children after a tummy tuck without any complications.

Answer: i am having a tummy tuck in two weeks and my doctor said I could have children, and it would stretch out some but not as bad as it once was.

Question: ok so here is the deal, i have pcos and it was really hard to conceive (had to take metformin) and the was a 9 year gap with pregnancy.....anyways i have two kids, 9yr and 7mo olds i went to the doc for a hernia repair and he recommended a tummy tuck (military is free NOW for dependents but in a year or two they will start charging) i didn't say yes or no at the time because i wanna have more kids well at least one more....but my tummy looks really nasty like a prune and saggy skin kinda like kate plus 8 before the surgery, i haven't seen a regular tummy in almost 10 years! WHAT WOULD YOU DO IN MY SITUATION? CAN YOU HAVE A TUMMY TUCK AND STILL HAVE CHILDREN LATER? IT IS FREE SHOULD I JUST TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY NOW? HAVE YOU HAD A TUMMY TUCK AND CHILDREN AFTER AND DID YOUR TUMMY STRETCH OUT AND GET SAGGY LIKE IT DID PRIOR TO SURGERY?

Answer: A tummy tuck is a major surgery, I wouldn't do it simply because it's free. Do it only if you're sure that you aren't having anymore children. The skin *will* stretch out again after being pregnant, especially if it stretched the first time. So basically, you'd be undergoing a major surgery with all of its potential complications and side effects only to have the results ruined after another baby. Talk to your doctor about it.

Can you get a tummy tuck right after pregnancy?

Question: I see many celebrities with money such as Angelina Jolie and Victoria Secret's Alessandra Ambrosio with fit and flat tummies like two weeks after they have given birth. Just wondering if it is medically possible to get a tummy tuck right after your ceseran c-section or pregnancy.

Answer: Why would you? Your tummy will shrink back to its original size in 4-6 weeks.
