Where can I get my own at-home (pregnancy) Doppler?

Question: I just asked a question about my sleep4you.com/sleep.php/84/baby.html'>baby's heartbeat and one of the girls who answered said that I should get an at-home Doppler so I can listen to sleep4you.com/sleep.php/84/baby.html'>baby's heart every day. I wanted to e-mail her but IDK how to do everything on here yet, soo.... does anybody know where I would purchase one of these? Thanks so much. Additional question...... are there types that are more reliable than others????

Does having a doppler make your pregnancy feel more safe?

Question: I seem to have more confidence in my pregnancy being stable now that I have a doppler.. does anyone else had this physcological affect from having one?

Question: My doctor said the heartbeat is accelerated because he/she was moving around alot, is this cause for concern? Thansk for all your help

Answer: That's normal. Just like your heartbeat increases with activity, so does the baby's. And they are often quite active during a scan. Take it as a good sign that you have healthy and vigorous baby. Congrats!
